Creators of the Website
We are group 5, one of the six groups consisting of undergraduate students in Dr. Yeonhuan Kang's spring 2019 class called Understanding American Prose: "America Then and Now" held in Sungkyunkwan University. This blog is the byproduct of our collective project The American Dream Reconsidered: Global Migration and Human Rights in the 21st Century.Below are short introductions of our group members:
Seoyoung, Lee is an undergraduate student at SKKU English department. She created and designed this website and worked as a group leader, wrote postings about the American Dream and facilitated group meetings of the project.
Changhao, Cai is an undergraduate international student at SKKU. He did a critical research and wrote an essay on East Asian lessons remedying American thinking, which you can find in the blog.
Da-eun, Jeong is an graduate student at SKKU. She worked on researching the commodification and consumption trend in South Korean Culture, writing a posting about it.
Jieun, Lee is an undergraduate student at SKKU English department. She took part in researching and writing how East Asian food can remedy the subsequent diseases of the American diet.
Junwoo, Jeong is an undergraduate student at SKKU English department. He participated in doing research on the Americanization in South Korean culture, writing a critical essay about it.
